Laklar, Properly known as the Federal Republic of Laklar, is home to roughly 120 million kerbals, and is located on the Laklarian Island chain south of Syracuse, and right above the South Arctic ocean. It is mainly a Sub-World country, meaning it is heavily influenced by the actions of outside powers.
History
Laklar was formed in 2015, 10 years after the Orange War by a mix of Kerbelian and Syracusian Migrants. At this time, Leviathan Flightworks was established, marking the start of a long spacerace between Kerbelia and Syracuse, but Laklar would soon rise onto the spot of the Aerospace Field. After creation, Laklar would go on to have a neutral stance in the world, mainly pushing for peace in many regions, as global conflicts usually disrupt its fragile supply chain and economy.
GeoPolitcal Stance
As of recently, Laklar has been leaning more west-ward towards countries such as Kerbelia, Ikreland, and Leeland, as they are the main advocators of peace. Furthermore, they have funded Laklar's development in the Aerospace field, along with energy production at the cost of them lowering export prices to Kerbelia, and slightly raising them for Eastern World Countrys.
Advancements
Laklar has made itself to be the fourth ever country to achieve spaceflight, being beind Kerbelia (1), Ikreland (2), and Syracuse (3). However, it's late entry into the scene has not caused issues for Laklar, as they have been making substantial gains in the Geostationary market, by offering cheap launch alternatives to orbit. However, they have yet to achieve the reliability of other nations, such as Kerbelia or Ikreland. Ranks last in Gross Domestic Product, and 5th in GDP per capita.
